Both the segments have witnessed a shift from utility to luxury. With India's luxury market estimated to grow 86 percent in constant value terms between 2013 and 2018, urban India's growth in corporate environment and the rising middle-class population's per capita income, the industry is expected to further grow in the coming years. The potential and hence the need for a trade platform was echoed by the industry too, in their feedback to us as industry players. UBM Indexfairs India has thus launched India Kitchen & Bath here in the capital to tap and further harness the potential for this growing market in India."

Mr. L.A Khan, Managing Director, UBM Index Fairs further elaborated, "Owing to our flagship trade show, Index, we enjoy a close connect, with the community of architects, interior designers and builders/developers and with key trade and buyer delegations across India. In addition, through our strategic alliances, we have a standing relationship with industry's professional bodies. India Kitchen & Bath is a natural extension of our offering to the niche segment of the industry we have been catering to, since the last 26 years."
