Amul to export dairy products to Russia

Amul, the biggest diary producer in India, will start exporting dairy products to Russia. Media reports suggested that, a delegation from Russia have visited the plant and approved diary products including Amul milk powder and cheese.

Amul will be first Indian dairy company to export its production to foreign country. It is expected that the company would likely grow much faster in the next five years. It is reported that it will focus on the expansion plans as well.

Amul company has been in wait for the approval from the regulatory for exporting its products. After getting approval from the authorities  it will start exporting to Russia. The export work could be started within next three months.
