Apollo Hospitals Hosts Advanced Course to Disseminate Knowledge in Pediatric Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases
Continuing with its tradition of clinical excellence, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, India’s First Internationally Accredited Hospital offering state-of-the art tertiary care in various pediatric specialties, commenced the Second Kunwar Viren Oswal Course in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Liver Transplantation and Nutrition.
Starting with the first successful pediatric liver transplant in India in 1998, Apollo Hospitals has been a pioneer in the field of pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition.
The six-day course, comprising of four days of lectures and a two-day advanced hands-on workshops for conducting endoscopies, is the first of its kind in Asia.
This course will see global experts address the attendees on various aspects of pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, liver transplantation and nutrition.
The course has been endorsed by the Asian Pan-Pacific Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Liver transplantation and Nutrition (APPSPGHAN) and is being conducted in association with Delhi Branch of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics. The course brings together faculty and delegates from 23 countries.
