This year UST Global GOAL 2014 will also have support from companies like Kairali Ford, Tata Telecom, Ultima Builders and Crowne Plaza, who will be the associate sponsors of the tournament. KIMS is the official healthcare service provider for the event.
The 2014 Infopark Kochi edition of UST Global GOAL will see the ball roll at the Trikkakkara Municipal Ground, Kakkanad on 22nd March 2014 and will run for a period of six weekends. The finals will be played on May 1, 2014.
The tournament will see Infopark-based software companies vie with each other to win the UST Global GOAL Trophy, in two formats, namely Men's Sevens Tournament and the Ladies Shoot-Out Tournament.
The event will be jointly inaugurated by the Guest of Honour Mr.MM Jacob, Former Indian player & former coach of Kerala Football Team, and Chief Guest, Honourable Dy Mayor, Mrs.B Bhadra.

UST Global GOAL had its inception at the Thiruvanathapuram Technopark back in 2007 when UST Global thought of enthralling soccer-loving technology professionals based in the Kerala capital with techie soccer. The tournament then travelled to Kochi and the Infopark edition of UST Global GOAL was launched in 2012.
UST Global GOAL 2014 Infopark Kochi edition is expected to have 24 teams for men and 22 for women. Unlike the Sevens matches played by the men, the women’s matches will comprise only of penalty shoot outs.
Last year, as many as 24 teams hit the soccer field with their teams in the men’s category. This apart, for the first time in the history of UST Global GOAL, 10 teams participated in the women’s shoot-out tournament.
