What’s Your Definition of Success?

Majority of us, usually live the life of others. We want to have the things that others have. We want to go on a holiday like others. We want to accumulate wealth and gain status symbols like the people we see around. All the time we are busy living others' life, we hardly have time to think, about ourselves and what is that will make us happy at the end of the day. If you are investing your time in doing those things, that will make you happy, and fill your heart with contentment, at the end of the day, then you can be sure that, you are on the road of success.

Life is very valuable to be wasted. So just have a check on the things you are doing. Are you keeping yourself busy all the time, that you don’t have time for the things, you love doing or your passions? Or are you wisely investing your time in those things, you are passionate about. Each and every one of us has the capabilities to taste success, and to live an exemplary life, of which we and others around us are proud of. We all have immense capacity; to not only lift ourselves, but to lift others as well, on our way to success. This is the real meaning of success.

If you want to taste success, you need to invest your time in self development. Not only to sharpen you axe, but, as a human being, what is it that you lack, and you need to develop, that will turn you into a complete person. Because most successful people have been great human beings first. You can work at peace, and concentrate on your work, only when your family atmosphere is good, and everyone is bound by mutual love and respect. So, to be successful in the profession, you need to give your time to the family, and see that you have a strong family base, that supports you on your road to success.

Always try to give the best in you. Don’t think about the organizations standards, think about the world class standards, and try to elevate your performance, to that level. Then you can be sure, you have started thinking like a successful person. You will have the influence of those people, who surround you most of the time. So, make sure you are surrounded by people who are more successful and more matured and experienced than you. This will help you become better in every way. Make sure that your presence makes some difference to someone, and you are adding value to other person’s life as well, in your journey towards success, because that is the real meaning of success.
